accompanied by a large number of ministers and senior state officials.
His highness visited United Networks site, which was set up inside
the Government Mall to help individuals and establishments receive
the company's services. He was received by Managing Director Mahmoud

Al-Sanea said that "United Networks is a national company seeking
to embody the state's strategy of creating an electronic government.
It has the infrastructure, human skills, and advanced equipment
that place it at the head of the Kuwaiti companies on which the
state can rely to achieve its objectives."
He said the company has for some time been cooperating with some
government agencies in the area of communications technology, offering
appropriate solutions to their communication networks, together
with follow-up and support services. He noted that these agencies
include the Interior Ministry, the Foreign Ministry, the Education
Ministry, and Kuwait University.
Al-Sanea told his highness the prime minister that the private sector
is ready to contribute to the implementation of this important project,
which will help Kuwait achieve a quantum leap in terms of both its
relations and communications with the world and its provision of
easy, transparent, and outstanding communication technology services
to Kuwaiti citizens.
Al-Sanea said that United Networks is moving toward the lead in
the area of digital and luxury communication in both residences
and places of work. He said the company outlined a vision to link
the entire country electronically by connecting all residences and
places of work through broad communication networks merging television,
